Lee McCulloch, born on May fourteenth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a distinguished Scottish football coach and former player. Currently, he serves as the talent acquisition manager at Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League, showcasing his expertise in identifying and nurturing football talent.
Throughout his playing career, McCulloch earned eighteen caps for the Scotland national team. He played for several clubs, including Motherwell, Wigan Athletic, Rangers, and Kilmarnock. Renowned for his versatility, he excelled in various positions, ranging from centre-back and defensive midfielder to striker at Rangers, and later as an attacking midfielder and winger at Wigan.
As his playing days drew to a close, McCulloch transitioned into coaching, initially taking on a role at Kilmarnock. He was appointed interim manager twice, first in January twenty sixteen and again in February twenty seventeen, before being named the permanent manager in June twenty seventeen, a position he held until September of the same year.
