Leif Vollebekk

Leif Vollebekk, a talented Canadian indie folk singer-songwriter, hails from Ottawa, Ontario, and boasts a rich heritage of mixed Norwegian and French descent. His musical journey began in childhood, where he learned to play the violin, guitar, and piano, laying the foundation for his future career.

After completing his studies in philosophy at the University of Ottawa, Leif's path took an intriguing turn during a layover in Iceland, which inspired him before he ultimately moved to Montreal. In 2017, Leif's album, Twin Solitude, garnered significant acclaim, earning a spot as a shortlisted finalist for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize and the Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year in 2018.
