Lennie Niehaus

Lennie Niehaus, born on June eleventh, nineteen twenty-nine, was a prominent figure in the West Coast jazz scene, renowned for his talents as an alto saxophonist, composer, and arranger. His musical journey began with the Stan Kenton Orchestra, where he not only showcased his saxophone skills but also established himself as one of Kenton's primary staff arrangers, contributing significantly to the orchestra's distinctive sound.
