Leonardo DiCaprio, born on November 11, 1974, in Los Angeles, is a renowned American actor and film producer celebrated for his remarkable contributions to cinema. He began his career in the late 1980s, initially appearing in television commercials and securing a recurring role in the sitcom Parenthood from 1990 to 1991. His breakthrough came with the film This Boy's Life in 1993, where he portrayed author Tobias Wolff, earning critical acclaim and his first Academy Award nomination for his role in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, also released in 1993.

DiCaprio achieved international fame with his performances in the iconic films Romeo + Juliet (1996) and Titanic (1997).
