Leonardo (footballer, born 1992)

Leonardo da Silva Souza, born on March 18, 1992, is a talented Brazilian professional footballer known simply as Leonardo. He plays primarily as an attacking midfielder, showcasing his versatility by also excelling on both flanks of the pitch.

Leonardo's journey in European football began at a young age when he made his senior debut with the Cypriot club Enosis Neon Paralimni in 2012. His skills quickly caught the attention of scouts, leading to a move to the Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetsk in early 2013.

After a brief stint in Ukraine, Leonardo transitioned to the Azerbaijani club Gabala, where he continued to develop his game. In August 2014, he made another significant move, this time to the Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala, further broadening his international experience.
