Leopold Koželuch, born on June twenty-sixth, seventeen forty-seven, in Velvary, was a distinguished Czech composer and music educator. In Vienna, Koželuch gained significant recognition as a composer, pianist, and teacher. His talents were acknowledged at the highest levels, and from seventeen ninety-two until his passing in eighteen eighteen, he served in royal appointments as Kammer Kapellmeister and Hofmusik Compositor, succeeding the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
