Les Wexner

Les Wexner, born on September 8, 1937, is a prominent American entrepreneur and chief executive officer, renowned for his significant contributions to the retail industry. He is best known as the co-founder and chair emeritus of Bath & Body Works, Inc., and has played a pivotal role in the success of several major retail brands, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria's Secret, and La Senza.

In 1991, Wexner, alongside billionaire Charles Bronfman, established an informal pro-Israel lobby group known as the Study Group or 'Mega Group'. This organization has been influential in advocating for U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East while also engaging in various philanthropic endeavors.

Wexner's financial journey took a controversial turn when he retained Jeffrey Epstein as his financial manager from 1987 to 2007. During this period, Epstein was granted considerable control over Wexner's finances, including power of attorney. It is reported that Epstein accrued a significant portion of his wealth through his association with Wexner. However, in 2007, Wexner severed ties with Epstein, who was later convicted in 2008 for soliciting a minor for prostitution in Florida.

In February 2026, documents released by Epstein's files indicated that the FBI had once considered Wexner a potential co-conspirator in Epstein's activities. Wexner has consistently denied any involvement in Epstein's offenses, and according to the lawyer for Epstein's victims, there is no evidence linking Wexner to Epstein during the commission of his crimes.
