Leslie Uggams

Leslie Uggams, born on May twenty-fifth, nineteen forty-three, is a celebrated American actress and singer whose career began in the early 1950s as a child performer. She gained significant acclaim for her role in the Broadway musical Hallelujah, Baby!, which earned her a Theatre World Award in nineteen sixty-seven and a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical the following year.
