Lev Ivanov

Lev Ivanov, born on February eighteenth, eighteen thirty-four, was a distinguished Russian ballet dancer and choreographer who left an indelible mark on the world of ballet. His journey began with the Imperial Ballet, where he initially gained recognition as an understudy in a benefit performance of La Fille Mal Gardée, showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication.

As a prominent figure in the ballet community, Ivanov served as the Second Balletmaster of the Imperial Ballet.
