Lev Yashin, born on October twenty-first, nineteen twenty-nine, was a legendary Soviet professional footballer renowned as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. His exceptional skills as a goalkeeper earned him the unique distinction of being the first and only goalkeeper to win the prestigious Ballon d'Or.
