Levon Aronian, born on October sixth, nineteen eighty-two, is a distinguished Armenian chess grandmaster who has proudly represented the United States since two thousand twenty-one. A chess prodigy, he achieved the title of grandmaster at the young age of seventeen in two thousand. His remarkable career includes being a former blitz champion and reaching an impressive peak classical ranking of No. 2 in the FIDE world chess rankings in March two thousand fourteen, with a rating of two thousand eight hundred thirty, making him the fourth highest-rated player in history.

Throughout his illustrious career, Aronian has secured numerous prestigious titles, including the FIDE World Cup in both two thousand five and two thousand seventeen. He has been instrumental in leading the Armenian national team to victory, earning gold medals at the Chess Olympiads in two thousand six (Turin), two thousand eight (Dresden), and two thousand twelve (Istanbul), as well as at the World Team Chess Championship in Ningbo in two thousand eleven. His success in the FIDE Grand Prix from two thousand eight to two thousand ten qualified him for the Candidates Tournament for the World Chess Championship in two thousand twelve.
