Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Liam Lawson

Liam Lawson, born on February eleventh, two thousand two, is a talented New Zealand racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Racing Bulls. Hailing from Hastings and raised in Pukekohe, Lawson's journey in motorsport began at the tender age of six when he started competitive kart racing. His early career was guided by the mentorship of Ken Smith, a three-time New Zealand Grand Prix winner, which laid a strong foundation for his future in racing.

In two thousand fifteen, Lawson transitioned to junior formulae, where he quickly made a name for himself by winning the New Zealand Formula Ford Championship as a privateer. His impressive performances continued as he finished as runner-up in the Australian F4, ADAC F4, and Euroformula Open championships in subsequent years. In two thousand nineteen, he clinched the title in the Toyota Racing Series with M2, showcasing his growing prowess on the track.

Lawson's ascent in the racing world saw him move to FIA Formula 3 in two thousand twenty and then to FIA Formula 2 in two thousand twenty-one, where he secured a commendable third place with Carlin. His versatility was further demonstrated when he competed in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters for Red Bull AF Corse, finishing as runner-up amidst a dramatic finale. In two thousand twenty-three, he participated in the Super Formula Championship, again finishing as runner-up, this time to Ritomo Miyata.

A member of the Red Bull Junior Team since two thousand nineteen, Lawson served as a reserve driver for both Red Bull and AlphaTauri from two thousand twenty-two to two thousand twenty-four. He made his Formula One debut at the Dutch Grand Prix in two thousand twenty-three, stepping in for the injured Daniel Ricciardo at AlphaTauri. Lawson's remarkable performance earned him his first points finish in Singapore. In two thousand twenty-four, he took over Ricciardo's seat full-time at the rebranded Racing Bulls, and by two thousand twenty-five, he was promoted to a full-time drive with the parent team Red Bull, partnering with Max Verstappen.

Despite a promising start, Lawson faced challenges and was demoted after the second round of the season. Nevertheless, he remains contracted to Racing Bulls until at least the end of the two thousand twenty-six season, continuing to build on his impressive career in Formula One.
