Liisa Repo-Martell

Liisa Repo-Martell, born on February first, nineteen seventy-one, is a distinguished Canadian actress and artist known for her compelling performances across various mediums. Growing up in Toronto, she was influenced by her parents, Satu Repo and George Martell, who were the founding editors of the influential independent magazine, This Magazine Is About Schools, now known simply as This Magazine.

Repo-Martell's educational journey took her through Jarvis Collegiate Institute in the mid-1980s, where she honed her artistic talents. Her career took off with a notable performance in the television film Nights Below Station Street, for which she received a Gemini Award in nineteen ninety-eight.
