Miles Parks McCollum, widely recognized as Lil Yachty, was born on August 23, 1997. This American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer first captured the public's attention in August 2015 with his viral hit 'One Night,' which served as the lead single from his debut extended play, 'Summer Songs.'

In March 2016, Lil Yachty released his debut mixtape, 'Lil Boat,' and shortly thereafter, he signed a joint venture record deal with Motown, Capitol Records, and Quality Control Music in June of the same year. His debut studio album, 'Teenage Emotions,' released in 2017, peaked at number five on the Billboard 200, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics.
