Lilies Handayani

Lilies Handayani, born on April fifteenth, nineteen sixty-five, is a distinguished former archer from Indonesia. She made history as a member of the team that secured Indonesia's first Olympic medal, a remarkable achievement that paved the way for future generations of athletes.

At the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul, Lilies, alongside her teammates Nurfitriyana Saiman and Kusuma Wardhani, clinched the silver medal in the team archery competition. This monumental victory not only showcased their exceptional skills but also marked a significant milestone in Indonesia's sporting history.

Following her illustrious career as an athlete, Lilies transitioned into coaching in two thousand eight. She dedicated herself to nurturing young talent in archery, managing the archery school she had established prior to her retirement.
