At the Athens Games, Lin showcased her skills in the women's individual ranking round, where she secured an impressive eleventh place with a score of six hundred forty-seven from seventy-two arrows. However, her Olympic journey took an unexpected turn in the first round of elimination, where she faced off against Tshering Chhoden of Bhutan, ranked fifty-fourth.
