Lina Khan

Lina Khan, born on March third, nineteen eighty-nine, is a prominent legal scholar and attorney known for her influential work in antitrust and competition law. She gained significant recognition during her time at Yale Law School, where her essay "Amazon's Antitrust Paradox" was published in two thousand seventeen, marking her as a leading voice in the field.

In March two thousand twenty-one, President Joe Biden nominated Khan to serve as the chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Following her confirmation, she made history in June of the same year by becoming the youngest individual to hold this position. Her tenure at the FTC, which lasted until two thousand twenty-five, was marked by a commitment to addressing monopolistic practices and promoting fair competition.
