Linde Lindström

Linde Lindström, born on August twelfth, nineteen seventy-six, is a prominent Finnish musician celebrated for his role as the guitarist in the iconic gothic rock band HIM. His musical journey began at the tender age of ten, inspired by legendary artists such as Black Sabbath and Steve Vai. During his teenage years, he joined the band Aurora, where he first crossed paths with Ville Valo, a collaboration that would shape the future of Finnish rock.

In nineteen ninety-five, Lindström and Valo reformed HIM, a band that would achieve remarkable success, releasing eight studio albums and becoming one of the most commercially successful Finnish bands in history. Notably, HIM was the first Finnish band to earn a gold record in the United States, marking a significant milestone in their career. The band announced their retirement in two thousand seventeen, culminating in a farewell tour that concluded with a final performance on New Year's Eve of that year.

Beyond his work with HIM, Lindström has made significant contributions to the music scene through his own band, Daniel Lioneye, which he formed in two thousand one alongside Valo and bassist Mikko 'Mige' Paananen. In two thousand eighteen, he reunited with former HIM drummer Gas Lipstick to create the band Flat Earth, collaborating with Anthony Pikkarainen and Niclas Etelävuori. Throughout his career, Lindström has also worked with various artists, including Jeffrey Walker and the supergroup WhoCares, showcasing his versatility and passion for music.
