Lino Červar

Lino Červar, born on September twenty-second, nineteen fifty, is a distinguished Croatian retired handball coach and politician. His remarkable coaching career is highlighted by his leadership of the Croatia men's national handball team, which he guided to a gold medal victory at the 2003 World Championship and again at the 2004 Olympics. These achievements solidified his reputation as one of the most successful coaches in the sport.

In addition to his coaching accolades, Červar ventured into politics as a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), the largest centre-right political party in Croatia. He served in the Croatian Parliament from two thousand three to two thousand eight, contributing to the political landscape of his country during a pivotal time.
