Linus Gerdemann

Linus Gerdemann, born on September sixteenth, nineteen eighty-two, is a distinguished former professional road bicycle racer from Germany. He is best known for his remarkable performance in the 2007 Tour de France, where he not only clinched a stage victory but also led the general classification for two days while proudly wearing the coveted yellow jersey.

After a successful stint in the early years of his career, Gerdemann faced challenges in securing a contract for the 2013 season. However, he made a comeback by joining the MTN–Qhubeka team for the 2014 season, showcasing his resilience and dedication to the sport.

In 2015, he continued to pursue his passion for cycling by riding for the Danish professional continental team Cult Energy-Vital Water. His journey in competitive cycling came to a close in early 2017 when he announced his retirement, leaving behind a legacy of determination and achievement in the world of professional cycling.
