Lisa Bentley

Lisa Bentley, born on November twenty-eighth, nineteen sixty-eight, is a remarkable Canadian triathlete and dedicated teacher. Her journey in the world of triathlon began in the late 1990s, where she quickly made a name for herself in the competitive Ironman race series.

Despite facing significant health challenges, Bentley was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in nineteen eighty-eight. This condition did not deter her spirit; instead, it fueled her determination to excel in her sport. Over the years, she has achieved an impressive record, winning eleven Ironman competitions, showcasing her resilience and commitment to her athletic career.

One of the highlights of Bentley's career came in two thousand six when she secured third place at the prestigious Ironman World Championship, marking her best performance to date. Just three weeks later, she continued to impress by finishing second at the Ironman seventy point three World Championships held in Clearwater, Florida.
