Lisa Thomaidis

Lisa Thomaidis, born on July twenty-third, nineteen seventy-one, is a distinguished Greek-Canadian basketball coach and former player. Currently, she serves as the head coach of the Saskatchewan Huskies women's basketball program, where her leadership has propelled the team to remarkable success.

Under her guidance, the Huskies have clinched the national championship title four times, achieving victories in two thousand sixteen, two thousand twenty, two thousand twenty-five, and two thousand twenty-six. Thomaidis's coaching prowess has not only been evident at the collegiate level but also on the international stage.

From two thousand fourteen until September two thousand twenty-one, she was at the helm of the Canada women's national basketball team, showcasing her ability to develop talent and foster teamwork. In April two thousand twenty-three, she took on the role of head coach for the German women's national team, a position she held until October two thousand twenty-five, further solidifying her reputation in the world of basketball coaching.
