Lisa Weagle

Lisa Weagle, born on March 24, 1985, is a distinguished Canadian curler hailing from Ottawa, Ontario. She made her mark in the curling world as the lead for the Rachel Homan team, a position she held from 2010 until March 12, 2020. During her tenure, Weagle became renowned for her exceptional skill, particularly for executing the 'Weagle' shot, also known as the tick shot, which was frequently utilized by the Homan rink.

After parting ways with the Homan team, Weagle joined Team Jennifer Jones, where she played for two seasons until the team disbanded on March 15, 2022. Her journey continued as she took on the lead position for Team Laurie St-Georges from Quebec for the 2024–25 season, showcasing her adaptability and commitment to the sport.

In addition to her competitive achievements, Weagle expanded her influence in the curling community by stepping into a coaching role in 2023, where she guided the Kaitlyn Lawes rink. Her contributions to curling extend beyond her personal accolades, as she plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of curlers.
