Liubomyr Huzar, born on February twenty-sixth, nineteen thirty-three, was a prominent figure in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, serving as its Major Archbishop. His leadership marked a significant chapter in the church's history, particularly as he was the first to be elected in an independent Ukraine.
Throughout his distinguished career, Huzar was not only a cardinal of the Catholic Church but also a dedicated theologian, university teacher, and monk.
