Liuva II

Liuva II, born in the year five hundred eighty-three, was a prominent figure in the Visigothic kingdom, ascending to the throne at a remarkably young age. As the son of Reccared I, and possibly Baddo, he inherited a legacy steeped in the complexities of leadership and governance.

His reign, though brief, spanned from six hundred one to six hundred three, during which he ruled over Hispania, Septimania, and Gallaecia. Liuva II took on the mantle of kingship at just seventeen years old, a testament to the trust placed in him by his predecessors and the challenges that lay ahead.
