Liv Kristine

Liv Kristine, born on February 14, 1976, is a celebrated Norwegian singer and songwriter renowned for her contributions to various subgenres of heavy metal music. She first gained prominence as the vocalist for the gothic metal band Theatre of Tragedy, where her unique voice and artistic vision helped shape the band's distinctive sound.

Following her time with Theatre of Tragedy, Liv became the lead vocalist of the symphonic metal band Leaves' Eyes, further solidifying her status in the heavy metal scene. Her musical journey has been closely intertwined with that of her then-husband, Alexander Krull, the leader of the German band Atrocity, showcasing a collaborative spirit that has defined much of her career.

In addition to her work with these prominent bands, Liv Kristine is also a member of the German band Midnattsol, where she performs alongside her younger sister, Carmen Elise Espenæs. This familial collaboration adds a unique dynamic to her musical endeavors.
