Lloyd Axworthy

Lloyd Axworthy, born on December twenty-first, nineteen thirty-nine, is a distinguished Canadian diplomat, politician, and academic. He is widely recognized for his impactful role as Minister of Foreign Affairs under Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, where he shaped Canada's foreign policy during a pivotal time in history.

After a notable career in politics, Axworthy transitioned to academia, serving as the president and vice-chancellor of the University of Winnipeg from two thousand four to two thousand fourteen.
