Lois Mitchell

Lois Mitchell, born on June 22, 1939, is a distinguished Canadian businesswoman and philanthropist who served as the 18th lieutenant governor of Alberta from 2015 to 2020. Her appointment came through the constitutional advice of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and was officiated by Governor General David Lloyd Johnston on June 12, 2015.
