Lorena Ochoa

Lorena Ochoa, born on November fifteenth, nineteen eighty-one, is a celebrated former professional golfer from Mexico. Her career on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour spanned from two thousand three to two thousand ten, during which she achieved remarkable success and recognition.

Ochoa made history by becoming the first Mexican golfer, regardless of gender, to be ranked number one in the world. She held the top position for an impressive total of one hundred fifty-eight weeks, including a record-setting consecutive streak from April twenty-third, two thousand seven, until her retirement on May second, two thousand ten, at the young age of twenty-eight.
