Lorenzo Guerini

Lorenzo Guerini, born on November twenty-first, nineteen sixty-six, is a prominent Italian politician affiliated with the Democratic Party (PD). His political career has been marked by significant roles, including his tenure as the Italian Minister of Defence from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-two, serving under the leadership of Prime Ministers Giuseppe Conte and Mario Draghi.

In March two thousand fourteen, Guerini was appointed deputy secretary of the PD by party leader Matteo Renzi, a position he held until May two thousand seventeen. This role allowed him to influence party direction and policy during a transformative period for the PD.
