Lori Saint-Martin

Lori Saint-Martin, born in nineteen fifty-nine, was a distinguished Canadian novelist, university teacher, translator, and literary theorist. Her literary journey began with the publication of her first novel, Les Portes closes, in two thousand thirteen, marking her entry into the world of fiction.

In addition to her own writing, Saint-Martin was a prolific translator, collaborating with her husband, Paul Gagné. Together, they translated over seventy English language books into French, bringing the works of renowned authors such as Maya Angelou, Margaret Atwood, and Naomi Klein to a broader audience.
