Currently, he serves as a Safety Advisor to Dorna Sports, the organization that holds the commercial rights to Grand Prix motorcycle racing.

Throughout his racing career, Capirossi achieved remarkable success, securing nine victories in the Premier Class. He made history as the first Grand Prix rider to participate in over three hundred races, reaching this milestone at the two thousand ten season-opener in Qatar. His exceptional talent was evident early on, as he clinched the 125cc World Championship title in both nineteen ninety and nineteen ninety-one.

In addition to his two 125cc titles, Capirossi also won the 250cc World Championship in nineteen ninety-eight. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the youngest World Champion in motorcycle racing history, having won the 125cc title at the tender age of seventeen years and one hundred sixty-five days.
