Loris Karius

Loris Karius, born on June 22, 1993, is a talented German professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for the 2. Bundesliga club Schalke 04. His journey in football began at VfB Stuttgart, where he honed his skills before making a significant move to Manchester City in 2009.

After spending two years in the youth system at Manchester City, Karius returned to Germany to join Mainz 05. It was here that he established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper, showcasing his abilities in the Bundesliga and earning recognition for his performances.

In 2016, Karius made a high-profile transfer to Liverpool for a fee of four point seven five million pounds. His time at Liverpool was marked by a memorable appearance in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final, where the team faced Real Madrid. Unfortunately, the match ended in a 3–1 defeat, and Karius faced criticism for two pivotal errors that contributed to the loss.
