Loukas Yorkas

Loukas Yorkas, born on October eighteenth, nineteen eighty-six, is a celebrated Greek Cypriot artist known for his multifaceted talents as a singer, guitarist, screenwriter, and songwriter. He first gained national recognition as the winner of the inaugural season of the Greek version of the popular television talent show, The X Factor, which catapulted him into the limelight.

In September two thousand nine, Loukas released his debut EP album titled Mazi, which quickly achieved gold certification, marking a significant milestone in his music career. His unique sound and engaging performances have resonated with audiences, establishing him as a prominent figure in the Greek music scene.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Loukas is also an academic, studying Biology at the University of Patras. This blend of artistic and scientific interests showcases his diverse talents and dedication to personal growth.

Loukas represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in two thousand eleven, held in Germany, where he performed alongside Stereo Mike with the song 'Watch My Dance.' Their performance earned them a commendable seventh place, garnering one hundred twenty points and further solidifying Loukas's status as a notable artist on the international stage.
