Lü Huihui

Lü Huihui, born on June 26, 1989, is a remarkable Chinese javelin thrower who has made significant strides in her sport. Despite being a late-bloomer, she has achieved impressive milestones, including winning a silver medal at the 2015 World Championships and securing bronze medals at both the 2017 and 2019 World Championships.

Her journey in javelin throwing began slowly, as she did not surpass the fifty-meter mark until her twenties. However, her determination and talent shone through when she broke the Asian record in 2012 with a throw of sixty-four point ninety-five meters. This achievement marked the beginning of her ascent in the world of athletics.

Lü continued to push her limits, improving her record to sixty-six point thirteen meters in 2015 and further elevating it to an astounding sixty-seven point fifty-nine meters in 2017.
