Lubna Khalid Al Qasimi

Lubna Khalid Al Qasimi, born on February fourth, nineteen sixty-two, is a prominent Emirati politician and a distinguished member of the ruling family of Sharjah. As the niece of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, she has played a significant role in the political landscape of the United Arab Emirates.

Throughout her career, Lubna has held several key ministerial positions, including Minister of State for Tolerance, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Minister of Economic and Planning. Notably, she made history as the first woman to assume a ministerial role in the UAE, paving the way for future generations of female leaders.

In addition to her political achievements, Lubna has been serving as the President of Zayed University since two thousand fourteen, where she has contributed to the advancement of education and empowerment of women in the region.
