Luc Robitaille

Luc Robitaille, born on February seventeenth, nineteen sixty-six, is a distinguished Canadian-American ice hockey executive and former player. Currently serving as the president of the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League (NHL), Robitaille has made a significant impact both on and off the ice.

Throughout his illustrious nineteen-season NHL career, Robitaille showcased his exceptional talent, winning the Stanley Cup in the two thousand one to two thousand two season with the Detroit Red Wings. He is particularly renowned for his remarkable fourteen seasons with the Los Angeles Kings, where he not only won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie but also earned a place on eight NHL All-Star teams, five of which were First Team selections.

Robitaille's leadership was evident when he served as the Kings' team captain during the nineteen ninety-two to ninety-three season, stepping up during Wayne Gretzky's injury, and again for the final two games of the two thousand five to two thousand six season. Upon retiring after the two thousand five to two thousand six season, he held the record as the highest-scoring left winger in NHL history and set numerous franchise and playoff records for the Kings.
