Ludacris

Christopher Brian Bridges, known to the world as Ludacris, was born on September 11, 1977, in Champaign, Illinois. He later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he embarked on his musical journey. Initially starting as a DJ, Ludacris founded the record label Disturbing tha Peace in the late 1990s, which led to the release of his debut studio album, Incognegro, in nineteen ninety-nine. The album's single, 'What's Your Fantasy' featuring Shawnna, became a top forty hit on the Billboard Hot 100, prompting a re-release under Def Jam Recordings as his major label debut, Back for the First Time, in two thousand.

Back for the First Time achieved significant success, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200 and producing another top forty single, 'Southern Hospitality' featuring Pharrell. Ludacris continued to build on this momentum with subsequent albums such as Word of Mouf in two thousand one, Chicken-n-Beer in two thousand three, and The Red Light District in two thousand four, all of which received multi-platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America.

His later works, including Release Therapy in two thousand six and Theater of the Mind in two thousand eight, delved into more serious themes, while his seventh album, Battle of the Sexes in two thousand ten, marked a return to the playful style of his earlier music. Throughout his illustrious career, Ludacris has achieved two number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist, namely 'Stand Up' featuring Shawnna and 'Money Maker' featuring Pharrell, along with three number-one hits as a guest performer.

Beyond his musical achievements, Ludacris has made a name for himself in the film industry, portraying Tej Parker in the Fast & Furious franchise, starting with 2 Fast 2 Furious in two thousand three. His acting repertoire includes notable films such as Crash in two thousand four, Gamer in two thousand nine, and New Year's Eve in two thousand eleven. In twenty twenty-one, he expanded his creative horizons by creating and starring in the children's animated series Karma's World for Netflix.
