Luděk Mikloško, born on December ninth, nineteen sixty-one, is a distinguished Czech football coach and former professional player. Renowned for his skills as a goalkeeper, Mikloško made a significant impact in the Premier League while playing for West Ham United, where he appeared in over three hundred matches.
His career also included stints in the Football League with Queens Park Rangers, as well as in his homeland with RH Cheb and Baník Ostrava. Mikloško's international career was marked by forty caps for Czechoslovakia, during which he was part of the squad that competed in the nineteen ninety FIFA World Cup. He later earned two additional caps representing the Czech Republic.
After hanging up his boots, Mikloško returned to West Ham United, taking on the role of goalkeeping coach. He dedicated several years to nurturing talent at the club before departing in two thousand ten. Following his coaching tenure, he relocated back to the Czech Republic, continuing to contribute to the sport he loves.
