Luigi Alva, born Luis Ernesto Alva y Talledo on April 10, 1927, was a distinguished Peruvian operatic tenor whose remarkable career spanned several decades. Specializing in the works of Mozart and Rossini, Alva became particularly famous for his portrayals of iconic characters such as Don Ottavio in Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' and Count Almaviva in Rossini's 'The Barber of Seville.'
