Lukáš Rosol

Lukáš Rosol, born on July 24, 1985, is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 26 on September 22, 2014, marking a significant milestone in his athletic journey.

Rosol's career is highlighted by remarkable victories, including a stunning win against world No. 8 Jürgen Melzer at the 2011 French Open. This victory came in the second round and was particularly impressive as Melzer had reached the semifinals the previous year. The following year, Rosol made headlines again by defeating world No. 2 Rafael Nadal in the second round of Wimbledon, solidifying his reputation as a formidable competitor.
