Luke Littler, born on January twenty-first, two thousand seven, is an extraordinary English professional darts player who has taken the sport by storm. Known by his nickname 'the Nuke', he has achieved remarkable success in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he currently holds the prestigious title of world number one. Littler's journey in darts began at the tender age of eighteen months, and he quickly established himself on the World Darts Federation (WDF) circuit in two thousand twenty-two.

In two thousand twenty-three, Littler showcased his immense talent by winning the PDC World Youth Championship and five PDC Development Tour titles. His PDC World Championship debut came in two thousand twenty-four at just sixteen years old, where he made headlines as a sixty-six to one outsider, reaching the final but ultimately falling to Luke Humphries. That same year, he claimed three major titles, including the prestigious Premier League.

His breakthrough year was followed by an incredible performance in two thousand twenty-five, where he defeated the legendary Michael van Gerwen to secure his first World Championship title. Littler's dominance continued as he won six out of ten major titles that year, becoming the youngest player to achieve the world number one ranking at the Grand Slam. He successfully defended his title in two thousand twenty-six, defeating Gian van Veen, and joined the elite group of players who have won successive world titles in darts.

Recognized for his contributions to the sport, Littler was named the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year in two thousand twenty-four. His rise to fame sparked a phenomenon known as 'Littlermania' or the 'Littler effect', significantly increasing public interest in darts. A two-time PDC Player of the Year, he has also made four televised nine-dart finishes, showcasing his exceptional skill. In the two thousand twenty-five Birthday Honours, he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and was honored as an honorary citizen of Warrington.
