Luke Ramsay, born on January thirty-first, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian sailor known for his expertise in the two-person dinghy (470) and mixed multihull (Nacra 17) classes. His sailing journey has been marked by significant achievements, including representing Canada at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London alongside his partner, Olympic veteran Mike Leigh.

Ramsay's Olympic qualification came through a commendable performance at the World Championships in Barcelona, Spain, where he secured a berth by finishing twenty-second. During the London Games, he and Leigh competed fiercely, ultimately finishing twenty-fifth in a competitive fleet of twenty-seven boats, accumulating a total of one hundred seventy-nine net points.

Following his Olympic debut, Ramsay continued to evolve as a sailor, teaming up with accomplished windsurfer and three-time Olympian Nikola Girke in the mixed multihull class Nacra 17. Their partnership led them to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where they achieved a respectable fifteenth place out of twenty competitors.
