Luuk de Jong

Luuk de Jong, born on August 27, 1990, is a prominent Dutch professional footballer renowned for his role as a striker. Currently, he showcases his talents at Primeira Liga club Porto, where he continues to make significant contributions on the field.

De Jong's football journey began at DZC '68, followed by stints at De Graafschap and Twente. His career took a notable turn when he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach and later Newcastle United. In 2014, he made a pivotal move to PSV Eindhoven, where he played over two hundred matches and netted more than one hundred goals, helping the team secure the Eredivisie title three times during his five seasons there.

In 2019, De Jong transitioned to Sevilla, and in 2021, he embarked on a loan spell with Barcelona. His journey came full circle when he re-joined PSV in 2022, further solidifying his status in Dutch football.
