Mabel H. Grosvenor

A Canadian-born American, she was not only a medical professional but also a key figure in preserving the legacy of her grandfather, the renowned scientist and telephone pioneer, Alexander Graham Bell.

Throughout her life, Grosvenor split her time between Beinn Bhreagh in Nova Scotia and Washington, D.C. She played a vital role in overseeing the stewardship of Bell's estate in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, ensuring that his contributions to science and society were honored and remembered.

In addition to her medical career, Grosvenor served as the Honorary President of the Alexander Graham Bell Club, which is recognized as Canada's oldest continuing women's club. This organization originated from a social group established at Beinn Bhreagh by Mabel Bell, Alexander's wife, further intertwining Grosvenor's life with her family's rich history.
