Mac Cone

Mac Cone, born on August twenty-third, nineteen fifty-two, is a distinguished Canadian show jumper renowned for his remarkable contributions to the sport. He has represented Canada on the international stage, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication to equestrian excellence.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, Cone achieved a significant milestone by winning a silver medal as part of the Canadian team in team jumping. His teammates included notable riders such as Jill Henselwood, Eric Lamaze, and Ian Millar, all of whom contributed to this prestigious accomplishment.

Mac rides a talented twelve-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding named Ole, alongside an eight-year-old Dutch Warmblood named Unanimous. Unanimous, sired by Andiamo, is owned by Southern Ways Limited and the Unanimous Group, further highlighting Cone's connection to high-caliber equestrian talent.

Notably, Mac Cone is the only rider to have competed as a member of both the Canadian Equestrian Team and the United States Equestrian Team, a testament to his versatility and skill in the sport. Currently, he resides in King City, Ontario, Canada, where he shares his expertise by coaching at the Southern Ways equestrian facility.
