Mac Miller, born on January 19, 1992, was a multifaceted artist known for his contributions as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first gained widespread recognition with his mixtape 'Best Day Ever' in 2011, which showcased his unique style and lyrical depth. That same year, he made history with his debut studio album, 'Blue Slide Park,' becoming the first independently distributed debut album to reach the top of the US Billboard 200 since 1995.

In 2013, Miller took a significant step in his career by founding the record label imprint REMember Music. Following the release of his second studio album, 'Watching Movies with the Sound Off,' he transitioned from Rostrum Records to Warner Bros. Records in 2014.
