Madchild

Shane Bunting, widely recognized by his stage name Madchild, is a prominent Canadian rapper and songwriter born on October 21, 1975. He is best known for his role as a founding member of the influential hip hop group Swollen Members, which he established alongside fellow artist Prevail in Vancouver. In 2009, Madchild ventured into a solo career with the release of his EP, The Madchild EP. This marked the beginning of a series of successful solo projects, including his debut album, Dope Sick, which came out in 2012. He continued to showcase his artistic evolution with subsequent albums, Lawn Mower Man in 2013 and Silver Tongue Devil in 2015, each reflecting his unique style and lyrical prowess.

Madchild's journey in music began earlier, as he was recognized as a member of the legendary Rock Steady Crew in 1993, a testament to his early influence and dedication to the art form.
