Magdalena Sibylle of Brandenburg-Bayreuth

Magdalena Sibylle of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, born on October twenty-seventh, sixteen twelve, was a prominent figure in the aristocratic circles of her time. As the daughter of Christian, Margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, and Marie of Prussia, she held the title of Markgräfin, or Margravine, and was a distinguished member of the Brandenburg-Bayreuth branch of the House of Hohenzollern.

Her marriage to John George II marked the beginning of her influential role as Electress of Saxony, a position she held from sixteen fifty-six until sixteen eighty.
