Maggie Gobran

Maggie Gobran, affectionately known as Mama Maggie, is a remarkable figure in the realm of humanitarian work and education. Born in 1949, she has dedicated her life to serving the underprivileged in Cairo, Egypt, as a Coptic Orthodox consecrated servant. Her commitment to social justice and community service led her to establish Stephen's Children, a non-profit charity that provides support and education to impoverished children and their families.

In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Mama Maggie has made significant contributions to academia as a professor of computer science at the American University in Cairo.
